Introduction
Sinotechdrill UD400 is a compact and powerful rig that is suitable for both underground and surface drilling. It can be fitted with a long or short feed frame and wire line, making it ideal for both conventional and wire line drilling. Using B-size ITH tools, the rig can drill as deep as 500 meters. The compact modular design ensure the easy transportation as well as position.

Control panel
The control method is simple and easy to operate, operating the bar, the worker only need to put on or pull the rod, and all the work could be done.
It can Auto-feeding, the feeding force and work speed are easy to control.
The operation actions of using chuck and rod holder are synchronized ones.
The operator can easy to fix or unload the rod without the spanner.
The instrument boards show feed pressure, system pressure, and flushing water pressure values.
Increase the work efficiency greatly.
Rotation Unit
The inner diameter of the rotation unit spindle is 58mm. the hydraulic chuck with interchangeable jaws allows quick adaptation to different size rods. The spindle speed automatically adaption by hydraulic motor. It can reach low rotational speed and high torque when use the gear case of the 1:2.5 transmission ratio.
Main body
The main body is consisting of feed frame, rotation unit, rod holder, column, and cylinder. Facilitate to assemble or teardown. It can drill holes from 0°-360° in work tunnel by column.
Power unit
The power unit is mounted on a mounted frame, which is easy to move, and can leave a distance with the main body when it is working.
The power unit has a high power electric motor, double hydraulic pumps (The primary one to serve the rotation unit and the accessorial one is for the feed oil cylinder), hydraulic box, and filter, handle pump, oil condenser, electric control box.
Rod holder
Gripping action of the rod holder is synchronized with the hydraulic chuck. The device insurance the gripping actions is mechanically but loosen ones is hydraulically. The main advantages with this design is that the rod holder will never loosen its grip on the drilling string—even in case of the oil pressure should drop unexpectedly, and guarantee the safety of drilling upward as well.
