Slag pot is a load-bearing device whose sole purpose is to collect molten or solid slag generated during metallurgical or chemical processes, to retain it during transport and to deposit it at a place of disposal.

The slag pot is made after pressing & welding which used the special high quality low alloy steel plate as the main material. Compared with the traditional casting slag pot, it has many advantages such as good comprehensive performance, high strength, no cracking, reliable and easy to repair, low cost of maintenance, long service life, integrated low cost and so on. They have very strong resistance to sharp quenching and snap heat working condition which in copper slag slow cooling process workmanship.
The new type of welded slag pots have a upgraded water cooling structure, with all the 3 ring plates we arrange optimized water drop holes and under the bottom of ring plate we set different water guide plate. Compared with the casted slag pot, the new type of cooling structure on the welded slag pot will guide the cooling water uniformly distributed to all the outside surface of slag pot body and make sure to keep the maximum heat-sinking capability.
